Dr. Jun Hu is a licensed acupuncturist in California with over 39 years of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She earned her Ph.D. from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, becoming one of the earliest female scholars in China to receive a doctorate in acupuncture research and clinical practice.
Dr. Hu specializes in integrative treatment for endocrine and women’s hormonal disorders, addiction recovery, and chronic pain. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAMS) and as a Professor at Five Branches University.
Her past leadership roles include President of the American Association of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (AACMA), Professor and Doctoral Advisor at the Shanghai University of TCM, and Deputy Director of Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. She has also contributed to national standards as a member of China’s TCM License Examination Committee and has taught internationally in Japan, Finland, and Thailand.
